Dorothy Madine
Cyprus Treatment Co-ordinator
Dorothy became a Registered General Nurse in 1990. She has diplomas in Counselling, Psychology as well as a Post graduate Diploma for Total Quality Management
In 1995, Dorothy began working for the Royal College of Nursing as a Regional Officer. She advised, represented and negotiated on behalf of the Royal College of Nursing members.
In 2006, she returned to the Royal College of Nursing as a Job Evaluation Facilitator and helped facilitate the introduction of their internal Job Evaluation Scheme.
However, in April 2005, Dorothy decided she would set up her own business as a Consultant, offering her skills to help develop and deliver training, manage systems and procedures to various Health Departments in the UK.
This led Dorothy to retire in 2007 to Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus. Still offering her Consulting Services to the UK Dorothy could not completely retire and this then led to her applying for the post as a Nurse with us at the Cyprus IVF Clinic and providing her skills and expertise to our UK and International client base.
When Dorothy is not managing the day to day running of the clinic, she likes to socialize with friends, walk her dog, read psychological thrillers and watch movies based on real life stories and period dramas. In addition, Dorothy is an avid ‘web surfer’, using the Internet to research the latest IVF information.
