observerWe would like to thank the hundreds of people who came to the UKCFA Stand to talk to Mr Kingsland, Mr Gazvani and the rest of the team. The show gave us an ideal opportunity to meet and talk to couples about their personal circumstances and to provide advice and support. In addition, we provided detailed support information for couples to take away.

In addition to supporting the UKCFA Stand, Charles Kingsland took the first seminar of the show. The seminar was titled ‘The Basics. What you need to know to get pregnant and how to prepare for pregnancy.’

The seminar was picked up by the Observer Newspaper who wrote:

Charles Kingsland’s seminar on ‘What you need to know to get pregnant and how to prepare for pregnancy’ provided an in-depth look at fertility, the biological clock, getting pregnant, hormones and how the body works. Charles also covered lifestyle changes important for pregnancy such as smoking, drinking and optimising your weight.

Though a serious topic for discussion, Charles added his own style of public speaking into the seminar with lines such as "when you walk past a McDonalds, you can hear the testicles shrinking", and "it's not that women live longer than men, it's just that they take longer to die". It's not all gloom!
