Dr Tekin attended Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University to study Medicine where he qualified as a Doctor in 1987.From 1998 until 2005 he began working in the field of IVF at the IVF Centres in Nicosia and in Istanbul. In 2005, Dr Tekin opened the Famagusta IVF clinic which specialises in providing Egg Donation and PGD (gender selection/sex selection) for family balancing as well as a wide range of services. Fluent in English, along with many of his professional team, Dr Tekin is dedicated to providing the highest standards of care which is supported by the clinic being awarded the International Quality Standard ISO 9001.

Dr. Tekin has been a Consultant Gynaecologist, fertility specialist for longer than 15 years. His areas of expertise within the field of fertility are IVF, egg donation, egg donation abroad, sperm donation, PGD, sex selection, gender selection. family balancing.

Miss Jemma Hand
Practice Manager

Jemma has extensive experience in front line services. She became a Medical Secretary in 2005 and has been working in the field of Reproductive Medicine ever since. Jemma has a thorough understanding of the issues related to fertility, IVF, PGD and egg donation. She leads the UK admin team and provides a vital link between the patients and the rest of our staff.

Christina Murphy BA, RGN
Nurse Coordinator

Christina originally from Dublin, graduated with a BA Honours in Nursing from Liverpool John Moores University in 2007. From here she pursued a career in Reproductive medicine at the Liverpool Women's IVF unit. After finishing her training Christina took on a role as nurse liaison in Bahceci Clinics, one of Turkeys biggest IVF centres based in Istanbul and Cyprus. From Istanbul Christina communicated regularly with and worked in our Cyprus clinic on a number of occasions.

Christian is experienced in all aspects of IVF treatment, treatment abroad, egg donation, egg donation abroad, PGD, gender selection (sex selection), family balancing and frozen embryo transfer treatments.
  
Having now returned to the UK Christina works alongside Mr. Gazvani and Claire England. She will help coordinate all aspects of your treatment prior to your Cyprus visit and will be available at all times for any questions or concerns you may have.

Sue Walker

Mrs Walker first worked in ITU before transferring to Gynaecology in 1988 as Ward Sister.

She became involved in Reproductive Medicine in 1990 as Fertility Nurse Specialist and eventually a Matron before taking on the role of Consultant Nurse in Reproductive Medicine with UKCFA.

Mr. R. Gazvani, MD, FRCOG
Consultant Gynaecologist Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery 

Mr Gazvani is a Consultant Gynaecologist and a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine. He is also a Director of an independent fertility Practice, The Fertility Clinic (TFC).

Mr. Gazvani is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and has held a prestigious seat at the “Audit and Guidelines Committee” of the same College for three years. His main areas of interest in research have been IVF and endometriosis.

Mr. Gazvani is married with two children and lives in Liverpool. His favourite past times are music and football.

Dr Uma Gordon MD, FRCOG.
Gynaecology and Obstetrics

As a specialist in reproductive medicine, accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Uma Gordon has been specially trained in all aspects of reproductive medicine. Dr Uma Gordon has been involved in the practice of reproductive medicine for the past 12 years.

Mr Kevin Artley, MD FRCOG,

Kevin has been involved in the field of Assisted Reproductive Therapies since 1989 when he took up an MRC funded research post at Cambridge University. Following this he has held Consultant appointments in London, Leeds and Australia before settling in Burton on Trent in 1995.

In addition to his position as the Medical Director of both the The Private Practice and Burton Centre for Reproductive Medicine, the NHS ACU at Queen's Hospital, Burton on Trent, Kevin is the Clinical Director for Women, Childrens and Surgical Services at the hospital.
His experience and that of the specialist nurses and dedicated Private Practice Manager, allows us to provide individually tailored care programmes in secure and comfortable environments, where staff take pride in working as a team to ensure treatment is managed safely and effectively with a minimum of fuss.

Nabil Haddad , FRCOG
Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist,
Grosvenor Nuffield Hospital Chester

Nabil Haddad qualified in medicine in Cairo in 1976. He trained in London, Southampton, Liverpool and Edinburgh. In 1989, Nabil was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist in Chester. He developed the Fertility and Assisted Conception Service and has led the service since. He was instrumental in pioneering 'Transport IVF' and had the first ever successful baby from that technique in 1990.

Nabil is committed to the provision of total fertility services and advocates a fitness for fertility approach in order to prepare couples for treatment and improve successful outcomes. Nabil serves on many local and national fertility committees, his research is clinically orientated and he has published on many aspects of fertility care.

Mr RJ Armatage
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
BMI South Cheshire Private Hospital, Leighton,Crewe

James qualified from Liverpool University Medical School in 1985 and spent 12 years training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before taking up a consultant post at Leighton Hospital, Crewe in 1997.

He continues to practice in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a fellow of the RCOG. During his training, he worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Conception Unit in Bristol. He has developed fertility services at Leighton Hospital, setting up a dedicated fertility clinic for the rapid assessment and treatment of patients including the provision of IVF and ICSI.

Dr Brian Brady BSc Hons, MBChB, MD, MRCOG
Consultant Gynaecologist

After Brian graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 1996 with first class honours in medical sciences and MBChB he completed training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Edinburgh. During this time, he was awarded the Gold Medal in the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and obtained an MD in Reproductive Medicine.

He conducted his research leading to MD at the MRC Centre for Reproductive Biology in Edinburgh, working with Professors Anderson and Baird. He then completed sub-specialisation in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery in Oxford whilst working at the John Radcliffe Hospital within the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Oxford.

He was appointed as a consultant at the Simpsons Centre for Reproductive Health, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 2009.
